Patrick M. Novack was the Shift Commander of the Fourth Precinct Detective Squad of the Minneapolis Police Department. He served on MPD for 30 years in the Third and Fourth Precincts, as well as Downtown from 1969 to 1999. Before joining the Department he was a highly decorated United States Army Vietnam War commando with the United States Army Rangers and LRRP Special Forces Teams. He was also a youth-oriented Community Service activist in the state of Minnesota and after he retired became an Investigator for the United States government through Defense Security Service.
